Chingay + River Hong Bao '07

After parking car at Marina Sq, I realized that I board the "thief" car, because this Yvonne suggest that we should go to Orchard Road for the Chingay Parade.
I reluctantly agreed. We took a train from City Hall to Orchard. And this is Yvonne first train ride after dont know how many donkey years ago.
Dont they look like tourist? Hahaha, well we acted like we are tourists. I'm from Bangkok, Sawadeeca. Yvon's from Japan, Konichiwa. I forgotten where Yuan's from. Hahaha Maybe from China, Ni Hao.
Chingay'07
We are standing in front of Ngee Ann City. Hmm, kind of the "best grand stand" we could find.
Arrival of Mr President!
We wave with all our might to try and get his attention.
He was standing in front in maroon. Dont ask me who are the rest, I dont know them, ohh, funny man, Gurmit Singh standing at the back.
Look at the crowds. They were climbing on to of the pillar trying to catch a glimpse of the parade. We even pass by these 3 public phone booth in between Wisma and Ngee Ann seeing 3 man sitting on top of the booth. "Fu, Lu, Shou"
Esprit wasnt spare too.
Performance by the Brazilians.
Yvonne thought she could peep underneath the grand stand seats.
See what?! Not a thing.
Band from Seoul.
Apparently it's a all Korean girls band.
감사합니다! (Kam-sa-ham-ni-da)
We quickly rush back to City Hall for the fireworks. Darn! They started early and this is the only one I manage to snap. The tiny purple one.
But of course we caught a few before it ends.
Doesnt this look like some night bazaar from China? No, it's River Hong Bao lah.
now they look like Singaporeans visiting China.
